Michael Del Sardo, O.D., is a Therapeutic Optometrist at the TSO Briargrove office location. Dr. Del Sardo has been affiliated with Texas State Optical since 1997. Dr. Del Sardo practices full scope optometry which includes eye exams, contact lens fitting, treatment of eye diseases, and co-management of pre and post-op cataract and LASIK patients. He is a graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry, where he earned a Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1995. As an undergraduate, he attended Texas A&M University.
Dr. Del Sardo specializes in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision—many of which do not always have obvious symptoms. As your optometrist he knows how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and understands the benefits and features of corrective lenses, both as eyeglass lenses and contact lenses.
